Gateway Canyons Resort was established by the founder of The Discovery Channel and is located in the spectacular sandstone country of Western Colorado. The resort planned to add a new Academy building and a Performing Arts building with accompanying plazas, walkways, gathering areas and extensive water features work. SC installed 32,000 sf of broom finished colored concrete to enhance the architectural theme of the entire resort. SC also built and helped design 3 large ponds and a stream feature. The construction of these ponds and stream included liner installation, aeration system installation, vaults, all plumbing, shotcrete gathering area overlooks and cobble and rock installation.
